Entry Registration is Open
The BeerMe Brew Cup is brought to you by BeerMe Brew Club.
Competition is Saturday, June 13, 2026 at Skyland Aleworks. There will be two judging sessions plus BOS with lunch served in between sessions.
This competition is AHA sanctioned and open to any amateur homebrewer age 21 or older.
Payment will no longer be allowed via PayPal due to their policies. Instead, please send payment via Zelle (use number 714-856-2438) or checks (made out to BeerMe Brew Club).
All mailed entries must be received at the mailing location by the entry deadline - please allow for shipping time.
All entries will be picked up from drop-off locations by the day of the entry deadline.
All entries must be handcrafted products, containing ingredients available to the general public, and made using private equipment by hobbyist brewers (i.e., no use of commercial facilities or Brew on Premises operations, supplies, etc.).
The competition organizers are not responsible for mis-categorized entries, mailed entries that are not received by the entry deadline, or entries that arrived damaged.
The competition organizers reserve the right to combine styles for judging and to restructure awards as needed depending upon the quantity and quality of entries.
Qualified judging of all entries is the primary goal of our event. Judges will evaluate and score each entry. The average of the scores will rank each entry in its category.
Brewers are limited to one entry in each category (due to possible need to combine categories or subcategories with limited entries.) There is a maximum limit of 7 (SEVEN) entries per brewer.
The competition committee reserves the right to combine categories based on number of entries. All possible effort will be made to combine similar styles. All brews in combined categories will be judged according to the style they were originally entered in.
The Best of Show judging will be determined by a Best of Show panel based on a second judging of the top winners. Depending on the number of entries, there may be separate BOS awards for beers, ciders, and/or meads.
Bottles will not be returned to entrants.
Entry Acceptance Rules
Number of Bottles Required Per Entry: 2 (TWO) Bottles
Each entry will consist of capped (NOT corked bottles) that are void of all identifying information, including labels. Glass bottles with raised lettering/company logos will be allowed. Printed caps are allowed, but must be blacked out completely.
12oz brown glass bottles are preferred; however, green and clear glass will be accepted. Swing top bottles will NOT be accepted nor corked bottles. Cans will be accepted.
Bottles will not be returned to contest entrants.
Completed entry forms must be submitted with all entries, and can be printed directly from this website. Entry forms should be attached to bottle labels by the method specified on the bottle label.
Payment will no longer be allowed via PayPal due to their policies. Instead, please send payment via Zelle (use number 714-856-2438) or checks (made out to BeerMe Brew Club).
Please fill out the entry forms completely. Be meticulous about noting any special ingredients that must be specified. Failure to note such ingredients may impact the judges' scoring of your entry.

Packing and Shipping
Carefully pack your entries in a sturdy box. Line the inside of your carton with a plastic trash bag. Partition and pack each bottle with adequate packaging material. Please do not over pack!
Write clearly: Fragile. This Side Up. on the package. Please only use bubble wrap and zip-lock stylke baggies as your packing material.
Enclose each of your bottle labels in a small zip-top bag before attaching to their respective bottles. This way it makes it possible for the organizer to identify specifically which entry has broken if there is damage during shipment.
Every reasonable effort will be made to contact entrants whose bottles have broken to make arrangements for sending replacement bottles.
Awards
Awards will be awarded based on the number of entries for that particular grouping. If we only have one entry in a category, we will group it in with other similar entries so we have a good pool. Not . . . pool of beer . . . while that might be amazing . . . it's not what we're going for here. Pool of beerS. Yeah.
No we're not going to group IPAs in with Blondes or something . . . as similar as we can get.
If we have a pool (Table) of 5 entries, the top TWO will get medals/awards. If we have anything more, we will award the top THREE.
The TOP entry from each pool (Table) will advance to BOS where a group of judges will judge them TO STYLE for the overall Best Of Show.
